Bavarian cuisine at a high level at down-to-earth prices! Discovered during the pandemic and found to be very recommendable! Super friendly staff too :) We'd love to come back !!

Delicious food, cozy atmosphere, nice service, I feel completely at home here. Even in times of Corona you don't have to do without it completely, there is the possibility to order and pick up the food. High quality food at a fair price.

The ambience is great, wonderfully rustic, just a real tavern! There are more than enough parking spaces and less than 30 seconds' walk from the restaurant. The dishes are absolutely tasty and are unparalleled in terms of size! There is absolutely nothing to complain about in terms of price. The service is incredibly nice and quick. Again any time.

A very great inn, for which we gladly stopped again on the way from the thermal baths back to Regensburg. The waitresses were all nice and the atmosphere quaint. It was positive that there was not only the typical Bavarian food, but also many more modern dishes and some vegetarian alternatives. The soup of the day (coconut / cauliflower) and the beer were particularly good. The quince shandy is highly recommended.

Nice and cozy inside to sit down, attentive service and very tasty game dishes. Portions very generous, almost impossible to create. In addition, home-made wild salami, sausages, venison ham, etc. can be purchased.

Last week on the occasion of a birthday - not for the first time - we were at the Gasthaus Zirngibl and ordered the surprise menu in advance. We really wanted to be surprised at what has definitely succeeded and did not express any wishes in advance. We ordered the menu without accompanying wine - to choose yourself:) - since the wine menu alone is more extensive and offers a pretty good selection, mainly from Germany and Austria. It started with a little greeting from the kitchen on a kind of "gourmet spoon", a very nice introduction! The starter, a kind of Bavarian Dürüm filled with a heart ragout of suckling pig with pointed cabbage, was really a blast. It continued with two kinds of quail, also totally delicious. The dry aged flank steak for the main course was "made" in the maturing cabinet. The dessert was the grand finale. All in all, a perfectly coordinated menu, something special. You are also welcome to let yourself be surprised and, of course, incompatibilities excluded. The service rounded off the whole thing ... fast, funny, friendly and very attentive, as always. All in all a perfect evening, we'd love to come back.

Always a special treat ... whether in the restaurant or as catering for our wedding. The food is very tasty and looks great too. Staff and boss simply great???

The atmosphere and the food at the Zirngibl are really unique. Bavarian delicacies as standard, plus an alternating daily menu - everyone will find something. In the summer of the year we love to enjoy the spacious beer garden under the shady trees. But the biggest plus besides everything is the always friendly and very courteous service staff. No matter who is doing his job right now, warmth, humor and great willingness to provide service are really top-notch with everyone. We always love to be there - just a wonderful place to enjoy.

After a long break I was there again to eat. I thought it had improved, but unfortunately the food was only lukewarm again, no salt on the spaetzle, meat and sauce average. A male waitress was very unfriendly. I ate very well once and the service was perfect. But that was after it opened a few years ago.

We were very satisfied. At first the price of 15 euros for the salad put us off, but it's justified. A barely manageable portion and it was very good. We will stop here again. ?

It was a very nice stay. The food is of an extraordinarily good quality and the taste is uniquely good. The waitresses are very quick and always careful, they ask several times whether everything is in order and whether something is desired. Very attentive. Kudos to the whole team. The waiting time is not particularly long either.

Great restaurant with fun conditions. The food is delicious and you have a nice choice between traditional and creative dishes. The prices are OK. The "beer garden" is great and also inside you can eat nice. The conditions are fast, friendly and sometimes even a funny saying. All in all, class.

Delicious and delightful. A cosy, friendly Gasthaus serving large portions of superb food at very reasonable prices. Ganz typisch Bayerisch!

Great food, atmosphere and service

Went there with no reservations on a Saturday night got seated immediately in a nice cozy private room. Wife had the Schweinebraten, I had the zweibel Rostbraten, both were excellent. Service was great.

Perfect service. Perfect food.

I'm in the middle on this one. There were good and bad things. The good: The venison carpaccio was excellent. Best venison tenderloin I've ever had. Cooked perfectly medium and seasoned lightly with a good amount of moisture in the meat. The bad: "Molten" butter tasted as though it wasn't actually butter. It had a faint taste of burnt sugar which was a little odd. Potatoes were very bland and tasted like they were cooked in really hard tap water. They were a little overcooked as well. Prices were overall quite high. For 3 people it came out to a little more than 99€ and we didn't drink more than 2 beverages each. Overall, the experience wasn't something I'd repeat.
